Completing Transport Forms and Business Tasks in the SAP GUI

ActiveControl has the ability to trigger a Transport Form popup in the SAP GUI of a satellite Development system, at one or two places:

1) when the transport is released via SE09/SE10 etc, or

2) when objects are attached to a transport via SAP transactions such as SE38, SE16, PFCG etc

Via the Transport Form popup, the Transport Owner (ie Development, Functional, Securities and Basis teams) can log some key information about their transport, and then also associate it with a new or existing Business Task. It is via these screens in the SAP GUI that most ActiveControl customers enforce all SAP change to be registered within ActiveControl at the start of the Development process.

*There are no ActiveControl screens in Java systems such as Portal or PI. For any non-ABAP systems managed by ActiveControl using the prerequisite CTS+, the Transport Form should be created via the ActiveControl Web UI (or Windows GUI).
