Preliminary Evaluations

As part of the Junior Activities evaluation requirements, each year Nippers must partake in 2 preliminary evaluations. We ask that all clubs please in the first instance, process their competition evaluations through the SLSA Nipper App. Paper versions are still available for this season.

1. Pool Evaluation – this does not need to be successfully passed to partake in Nipper days, however if a child is unable to successfully complete it, they will need a higher water safety ratio at the discretion of the club.
2. Beach Evaluation / Run-Swim-Run – this must be completed on the first few weekends of nippers and requires successful completion before nippers can progress to any other water activities. We ask that all clubs process their pool evaluations through the nipper app & keep paper forms for the beach run-swim-run. Paper versions for all steps are available for this season.
