How do I gain access to the Members Portal side of the Nipper App?

In order to gain access to the members portal side which includes managing attendance & ticking off evaluations/ awards – you will need to complete either the Age Managers Course or Age Managers Assistant Course & then have your club Nipper App Admin (usually the JAC or Club Admin) allocate you the relevant age groups in SurfGuard! Alternatively, if you hold your child safe award, you can be granted attendance only permissions.

How do our Endorsed Age Managers sign off swims in the app?

Endorsed Age Managers (9 per club) should be granted attendance, evaluation and award permissions which will allow them to mark them of in the members area.

How do i become a Nipper App Admin?

if your club needs more Nipper App Admins (ie those who have final tick off of Age Awards) please contact ja@lifesaving.com.au. We are trying to keep Nipper App Admins limited as these individuals can allocate all age awards.

Do we need to keep paper forms when using the Nipper App?

SLSQ highly recommends keeping all paper copies of evaluation forms and junior activities record sheets should there be any bugs in the SLSA.

I am a Nipper App Admin in SurfGuard where do i tick off attendance & awards?

All attendance and preliminary tick offs of awards are done through the Members Area, in order to gain access to this you must be either an age manager or age manager assistant. The only things done in surfguard are setting up sessions, allocating age managers & final sign off of awards.

I am the club Admin, can i tick off the Evaluations & Awards in the App?

As club admin you will need to become an Age Manager Assistant in order to access the members portal side where the awards & Evaluations are ticked off. Once you have access to do this, all paper forms (evaluation & Education Record sheets) confirming Endorsed Age Manager sign off must be kept as you are not the person witnessing/signing off the evaluations on the Nipper Sign on day or delivering the educational nipper components.

When I scan the RFID band, it keeps defaulting to LiveHeats. How do I fix this?
