SpyderWash has a feature called* “Spyder WATCH”*. This will give your customers/Residents the ability to view machine availability at your Laundromat/Laundry room.
Below are the steps to set up this feature. Please note that this is based off time estimates and will not be 100% accurate.
This feature is also optional and does not have to be activated.
Under your location click the blue “Edit” button on the far right
Under “Location Information” there is a new check box called “Enable Spyder Watch”. In order to activate this feature, this box needs to be checked.
Then click the “Save” button all the way at the bottom of the page.
Now that “Spyder Watch” is activated, it is now time to decide which machines you want your customers to be-able to view. In order to do this, you have to click the “Edit” button on the specific machine you want. Please see the below example:
- I want to activate the Spyder Watch feature for the “Speed Queen Horizon Q”. Currently it shows “NO” under the 13th Column called “Spyder Watch”, which means that the feature is not activated for this machine type as it is for all the other washers (which have YES under the column).
- Click the “Edit” button next to the first machine type that you want to change, and by doing that, it will become highlighted in yellow.
- Go to the bottom of the page and you will see the following:
- This is where you fill in the information including “Machine Name” which will be how many pounds your machine is as well the the “Cycle Time” which is an ESTIMATE of how long your washer cycle takes to run.
- The “Enable SW” box also needs to be checked.
- The machine activated is a 20 pound machine and it generally takes 30 minutes to run its full cycle.
- Now you need to click the “Update” button, which will cause the feature to be activated for ALL “Speed Queen Horizon Q’s”.
Setting up the Spyder Watch feature for the Dryers is very similar to the Washers except most of the information automatically fills in for you.
- The only Box that needs to be checked is the “Enable SW” checkbox and fill out the “Machine Name” as well.
- Now click the “Update” button
- This will activate Spyder Watch for All the same “Model” Dryers:
Now that all the machines that I chose are activated for Spyder Watch, I can view them on the “View”—->“View Spyder Watch Tab
