Honors Guidelines
Honors students have additional requirements such as additional homework assignments, quizzes, tests, or projects. There will be at least two test/project-level assignments or five quiz-level assignments per honors class per semester (honors homework may count as a quiz grade for honors students). Some honors classes will add questions to each quiz/test to satisfy this requirement of honors level rigor. Parents need to be notified early if honors students are not fulfilling their requirements.
Homeroom/Community Building Guidelines
Homeroom teachers are advocates for their students and help them to address issues arising individually or in their grade levels. Our teachers care for their students and want them to succeed spiritually, academically, emotionally, and physically. Please encourage your students to ask questions and advocate for themselves during this time.
Testing Policies
Teachers should collect electronic devices during all tests and quizzes. Refer to the Parent Student Handbook for more extensive information on student testing policies.
