The use of Powercraft in surf lifesaving and lifeguarding around the world has increased the speed, efficiency, and effectiveness of rescuing people in distress. RWCs are an integral piece of rescue equipment for Surf Life Saving (SLS) clubs and branches around Australia and are used for routine patrolling duties, water safety and on-call Search and Rescue (SAR) operations. As part of Support Operations or Services, the RWC provides an additional resource for maintaining effective surveillance on Australia’s beaches.

RWCs are fast, powerful and have superior manoeuvrability, ideal for rapid response and single-patient rescues. They can be deployed quickly and are effective in navigating through heavy surf and reaching patients in difficult locations. RWCs can be operated individually or with a crew.
