TO REPLACE THE VISOR ASSEMBLY

Remove the comfort liner by pulling each corner away from the helmet (there are 4 or 6 hooks depending on helmet model). Pull away from the impact liner detaching the hook and loop.

Do not pull from the center of the liner so that the hooks do not become detached from liner.

Remove nape assembly V-strap screw at the back of the impact liner.

Remove the edge of the trimming of the helmet shell.
Remove ShockLiner from helmet shell with the ShockLiner tools to reveal visor assembly retention posts.

Remove all four visor retention screws to release the components of the visor assembly.

NOTE:

There are several things to note when reassembling the visor assembly. The assembly is designed to operate under a certain amount of tension. It is advisable to fully assemble one side, tighten the retention screws to hold one side in place, then reassemble the opposite stack one step at a time while using a zero residue tape to hold tension on additional pieces. Even “zero” residue tape may require cleaning with an alcohol wipe after assembly.

NOTE:

The inner visor track is thicker than the outer visor track and is assembled below the outer visor track.

NOTE:

Visor tracks are stamped with “L” and “R” on their inside edge to guide assembly. The directional cues are as if the helmet is worn.
To reassemble, reverse disassembly steps.
