Kairos™ Retention Assembly
To fully inspect the retention assembly, the comfort liner and ShockLiner must be removed.
Remove the Nephos™ comfort liner which is attached to the ShockLiner with hook and loop fasteners.
Remove nape assembly retention screw at the back of the ShockLiner.
Remove the trim lock from the shell before pulling out the ShockLiner.
Remove ShockLiner from helmet shell with the ShockLiner tools.
-Inspect for general condition. Ensure nothing is loose, broken, torn, frayed, missing, nor issue with stiching.
Remove the four other screws and posts to free the retention assembly.
To reassemble, reverse disassembly steps. Note: Care must be taken when re-installing the ShockLiner back into place.
