MICROPHONE INSPECTION

Inspect for general condition, nothing loose, broken, torn or missing.
If the microphone has an intermittent operation, isolate the problem by doing the following:

• Ensure the two-pronged connection is secure. If it is secure and operation is still impaired,
• Perform a continuity check on the microphone cable with a tester or ohmmeter to confirm the mic cable is operational.
• Perform a continuity check on the communication cord with a tester or ohm meter to confirm that it is operational.
• If all the above items check operational, replace the microphone. If microphone operation is still impaired, contact Paraclete or local trained ALSE Technician.
