To Replace the Chin Pad

Pull down on the red tab of the Fidlock® buckle to release the clasp. Run the excess webbing of the chinstrap back through the lock on the buckle. Set the portion of the buckle aside to keep from misplacing. Remove the ladder lock from the chinstrap. Now the chin pad is free to slide off the chin strap. To replace with a new or cleaned chin pad reverse the preceding steps.
