The Lightning Conductor Web Part can be configured to summarize the data from the data source, such as, displaying the total number of issues or the total monthly salary paid to employees. Depending on the column type, the summary types available are: count, average, minimum, maximum, and sum. You can specify more than one summary type per column.

To apply conditional formatting:

  1. On the Lightning Conductor 2010 Configuration Wizard’s Configure Display Provider page, in the Columns Configuration section, click the summary icon Columns tab, Summary icon next to the column that contains the value which you want to summarize.

The Configure Summary Functions dialog is displayed.

  2. Select the Type from the drop-down list, and add a Display Text (or title) for the Summary field. Depending on the column type, some functions may not be available.
