Miscellaneous (Rollup Engine Provider)

The Miscellaneous section is the last section on the Configure Rollup Engine Provider step, of the Lightning Conductor 2010 Configuration Wizard.

This section contains two options:

1. Use the Limit Amount Of Items Return to text box, to restrict the number of items returned by the rollup query. The default is 1000. Use this option for performance reasons. If you would like to show a query such as “Top Ten latest Announcements”, instead of typing a number in the Limit Amount Of Items Returned To text box, on the Configure Display Provider step, use pagination and sort by the column, Created in descending order.
   
   
2. Select the Translate Taxonomy Terms check box when you are using multiple languages with Managed Metadata, and you wish to use Management Metadata columns, to filter items or to display terms in the Lightning Conductor Web Part. This allows the Web Part to display translated terms according to the user’s browser language setting.
