The “EDI Transmission” can be reached via the main menu:

Sales-A/R - Automotive - Outgoing Data - EDI Transmission

The data structure looks like the following:

The window “EDI Transmission” displays the result of the features DNT-EDI and INV-EDI.
After saving the data in the “EDI Transmission”, the above-mentioned features create files and save them in the directory defined in the business partner master data. That means basically all EDIs have the status “done”.

Head data

Business Process (@IAG_POTS0.U_Gpr):
Contains the business process of the EDI transmission. Can be forecast delivery, JIT delivery, etc.

Customer ID (@IAG_PORS0.U_Cardcode):
The customer ID out of the master data in Business One.

Customer name (@IAG_POTS0.U_Cardname):
The customer name out of the master data in Business One.

Customer ID ext. (@IAG_POTS0.U_Kdid):
Contains the customer number which the customer transmits during the business process. This number is verified in the EDI import.

Supplier ID ext. (@IAG_POTS0.U_Liid):
Contains the supplier number which the customer assigned to the supplier. It is basically always transmitted through a EDI. This number is verified in the EDI import.

EDI No. int. (@IAG_POTS0.DocNum):
Contains the internal EDI number. It is verified in the EDI import.

Status (@IAG_POTS0.U_Potstst):
Contains the current processing status. The following characteristics are possible:

Value Meaning Description
1 created After the data is saved properly through the feature EDI import.
2 Transfer failed The feature To history was aborted with an error.
9 done The data was successfully saved through the feature To history into the inhouse format

New EDI number ext. (@IAG_POTS0.U_Dfnren):
Contains the customer’s transmitted EDI number. It is given by the customer specifically for this transmission.

Old EDI number ext. (@IAG_POTS0.U_Dfnrea):
Contains the customer’s last EDI number. Transmitted primarily through VDA messages.

Transmission date ext. (@IAG_POTS0.U_Utdate):
Contains the customer’s transmission date.
