DNP3 Overview
Communications options support DNP3 Level 2 protocol and change events with unsolicited messaging. Refer to Section 4 regarding DNP3 protocol and point list.

Modbus Overview
Communications options can be set to communicate on standard Modbus networks using either of two transmission modes:
