Timelines can be triggered from DMX using a built in personality
On the TimelinePlus page, in the timeline list, open timeline settings and set the ID for each timeline. This will be referenced by the first two DMX addresses. Address 3 triggers the action on this particular timeline.
Please note that a command will only be triggered if a DMX value changes.
For example: timeline 1->Play (DMX values 0, 1, 10) will trigger a play command the first time this is issued.
If the timeline runs into a stop command and you wish to play again simply sending 1->Play won’t do anything as the values have not changed, nor will changing the value within the “Play” range (e.g. sending 0, 1, 15). Instead, insert a “nothing” cue in between (values 0, 1, 0) before issuing 1->Play again (0, 1, 10).
