If information is received about a vehicle accident involving a student(s) or school personnel on or near campus, contact a school administrator. Convey information regarding location, individuals involved, injuries, etc. as known. Any accident involving a GRACE activity bus should follow the procedures outlined in the GRACE Transportation Emergency Action Plan.
- Emergency services should be contacted as needed.
- Maintenance should be contacted for assistance for accidents on campus if needed.
- School personnel should remain at the scene of the accident as needed.
- Request the school office to contact family members as appropriate.
- Consult “Media Procedures” if needed.
- The school office will notify teachers.
- The Head of School will notify the Board Chairman, if warranted.
