Manners

Teachers should model and teach good manners. They should require good manners of their students at all times. Guests should always be given special attention.

Discipline Policy

Teachers should model godly behavior for students in word and deed. Teachers should establish a behavior management plan for their classrooms. Part of the plan should involve communication with parents. Middle and high school teachers should coordinate plans to provide consistency in discipline. Teachers are responsible for administering the school’s Discipline Policy. The policy should be discussed with students during the first few days of school and reviewed with parents at orientation. Students and parents are required to sign a Conduct Commitment form and return it to homeroom teachers on Lower Campus or the office on Upper Campus by the second week of school. These forms will be kept on file in Blackbaud. Discipline should always be viewed as a process of leading a student to spiritual maturity and should be implemented with love.
