Home Run Derby

Welcome to Home Run Derby. Test your swing and see if you have what it takes to hit home runs.

• The game is available for players with Gen 3 personal Swing Trainer or Swing Analyzer sensor.
• The four levels of player are based on Home Run distances based on the user’s age and scaled up with the game’s play levels. Leveling up is unlocked by achieving the target number of Home Runs at the current level.
• The Game is played in 2-minute periods with one timeout available to be used.

Game assets

Timeouts

• The player gets at least 1 timeout (up to 30 seconds) used per game
• The player can earn more by taking swings in Practice mode – 1 timeout earned for each user-created session with a minimum of 50 valid swings
  

Distance boosters

• If available, a distance booster is automatically applied when the distance for a given swing is close enough that the estimated distance + distance booster will result in an HR (The value of a distance booster is 20% of the target HR distance).
• The player can earn these by taking swings in Practice mode – 1 distance booster earned for every 50 valid swings taken in a given calendar week
  

Scoring

• Each HR is worth 1 point
  Home run streaks
• If the user gets 3 HRs in a row, they score 2 bonus points
  

How to open Home Run Derby

1. From the Live screen, tap on the Game tab.
2. Tap on the games tab on (the top right).
3. Tap on Home Run Derby.
4. Tap Play Now

How to start Home Run Derby

1. Make sure the sensor is connected.
2. Opening Home Run Derby.
3. Tap on Play Now.
4. Taking the first swing will start the game and clock.
   

How to change the level of Home Run Derby

1. Make sure the sensor is connected.
2. Opening Home Run Derby.
3. Tap on the Change button.
4. Taking the first swing will start the game and clock.
   

How to view Assets (Timeout/Booster) available in Home Run Derby

1. Make sure the sensor is connected.
2. Opening Home Run Derby.
3. Tap on Play Now.
4. The available quantity of each asset will show under the timer.
   

How to use Timeout in Home Run Derby

1. Make sure the sensor is connected.

3. Tap on Play Now.
4. Taking the first swing will start the game and clock.
5. Tap on Timeout.
   

How to use Siri Voice control in Home Run Derby

1. Make sure the sensor is connected.
2. Opening Home Run Derby.
3. Tap on Play Now.
4. Tap on Settings.
5. Tap on Timeout.
   

• In the phone Setting, listen for “Hey Siri” needs to be turned on

How to share results of Home Run Derby

1. Make sure the sensor is connected.
2. Opening Home Run Derby.
3. Tap on Play Now.
4. Taking the first swing will start the game and clock.
5. At the end of the game. Tap on Share.
   

• Share via text message.

How to quit Home Run Derby

1. Make sure the sensor is connected.

3. Tap on Play Now.
4. Taking the first swing will start the game and clock.
5. Tap on Close.
   

How to view the Personal Leader board in Home Run Derby

1. Make sure the sensor is connected.
2. Opening Home Run Derby.
3. Tap on Personal Leaderboard (Trophy icon).
   

• Filer by Today, This Month, and All Time.
• The leaderboard is per gameplay level.

How to View Sessions

1. From the Live screen, go to the Swing screen.
2. Tap on Swings.
3. Tap on sessions below swing Metrics (Three long bars icon)

• The session is automatically created.
• Session name indicates HR Derby Sessions when reviewing data.
