BDEx releases 4.0 and above are fully compatible and optimized for SAP Business Suite on HANA (IS-U) . While earlier versions of BDEx can run on HANA, in terms of maintenance, fixes to any HANA compatibility issues will not be retrofitted into previous releases.
Therefore, we advise that any customer looking to transition to SAP HANA, running on an earlier version of BDEx, upgrade to version 4.0 or later.
