You keep seeing the above banner popping up in Community and want to know what it’s about? It’s simply a background application that allows your modalities to directly send to Community. It speeds up the process and makes it easier for you to upload DICOM images and get on with your day!
The DICOM Service uses DICOM protocols to receive images directly from your modalities. It eliminates the need to transfer images via a USB drive, CD, etc. It’s simple to set up and simple to use!
You can even drag and drop DICOM files directly to Community using File Explorer – just look for the green Community icon in your Documents folder (or the folder you change it to if you no longer use the default).
