4.2. Install a DICOM Service

Installing the DICOM Service is quick and easy!

To begin:

*Although not required, we highly recommend a static IP address be assigned to the computer which you are installing the DICOM service . This helps prevent the need to modify the DICOM destination(s) on your modalities in the future. Please contact your local IT support for assistance with assigning a static IP.

1. Login to your Keystone Community account.
2. Click your name in the upper right corner and select “DICOM service.”
3. Select “Create New Service.

4. Select “Download”

*In most cases you can accept the above default service settings. Use this screen to change the settings if your network administrator has specific requirements.

5. Follow the next prompts to complete the installation of DICOM service.

!IMPORTANT: Save the Big 3 (IP address, AE title, and port number) on the following screen to configure your modalities to send to Community or see below on how to retrieve the Big 3 at a later time.

1. Login to your Community account.
2. Click your name in the upper right corner.
3. Select “DICOM service” and the Big 3 will display.
