3.1 Vendors Integration

The standard functionality of Vendor creation in Project Operations is synchronized with Business Central through the Dataverse Connection setup.

• Any changes (creation, modification, update, deletion) made to Vendors in Project Operations will automatically synchronize with Business Central.
• Ensures consistency and accuracy of customer data across both platforms.

A new Company and Company Name fields have been introduced on the Vendors details form in Project Operations. Users can define which company in Business Central to integrate the customer with.

3.2 Integrate Vendors in Business Central

A new table, “Dataverse Vendors”, has been introduced in Business Central to streamline the integration of vendors from Project Operations. This ensures seamless synchronization and supports both manual and automatic updates.

• Users can create, modify, update, or delete vendors directly from Project Operations into Business Central.
• Select a record in the Dataverse Vendors form and trigger the “Create Business Central” button to create or update vendors.
• The “Coupled” field switches to Yes upon successful creation or update.

Navigation: Vendors (from Navigation Menu) > Business Central > BC Vendors

3.3 Automatic Integration

The Dataverse Vendors table supports automatic integration. Users can configure batch processes to create or update vendors based on changes in Project Operations.

Navigation: Administration (From Navigate menu) > Job Queue Entries

3.4 Vendors Deletion

A new table, “Dataverse Deleted Vendors”, has been introduced in Business Central for managing deleted vendors from Project Operations. This ensures both manual and automatic deletion syncs are supported.

• Users can manually trigger the “Create Business Central” button from the Dataverse Deleted Vendors form to delete vendors.
• The “Coupled” field switches to Yes after successful deletion.

Automatic Integration

The Dataverse Deleted Vendors table supports automatic deletion via batch processing based on changes in Project Operations.
