Employee integration
This feature is introduced to integrate the workers (Employees) created in Business Central to Project Operation. The standard functionality of Employee creation in Business Central is synchronized with Project Operations. The Employee created in Business central must be associated with a Dataverse user, company Email field populated and a user must be created in Project Operations with this email address for the bookable resource to be created in Project Operations. Parameter field is introduced in Project operations which controls the automatic creation of bookable resources.
Bookable resource parameter in Project Operations
A new parameter field is introduced in evergreen parameters, which controls the automatic bookable resource process in Project operations. If this parameter is set to Yes, the process is automated. If the parameter is set to No, then workers are created in Worker form. Users can use the ‘Create or update resource’ button in the Workers form to create the bookable resource manually.

Workers form in Project Operations
This form acts as an intermediate form that displays the worker-related information like Name, Worker ID, contact information, Status, etc., of the Employee created in Business central. There is an option to manually create or update any bookable resource information.

Worker Information
Field | Description |

Primary Email Address | Specifies the primary email address of the worker. |
Worker Type | Indicates the type of the worker (e.g., full-time, part-time, contractor, etc.). |
Status | Indicates if the worker is active or inactive. |
Resource card in Project Operations
A new field is introduced on the Resources master form which indicates if the bookable resources are created via Business central. If set to Yes, then indicates that the user is created by the integration process from Business Central. If set to No, indicates that the user is created manually.

Company Information
