Overview

This User Manual is intended to explain the setup and operation of the BASE. Read this guide thoroughly before operating the BASE to ensure safe and efficient operation. If a question is not answered in this guide, contact PostProcess for additional support.

The BASE applies patent-pending technology, including optimized energy through agitation in combination with proprietary, eco-friendly detergents and heat to remove excess material deposited during 3D printing processes. The BASE integrates a number of design features for ease of use and integration into 3D printing operations, like software-controlled motion of three independent axes, a powerful positive displacement pump, and proactive warnings for consistent results. The chamber is equipped with separate cleaning nozzles to rinse the processing chamber, as well as part geometries if desired. A turntable with ANSI standard slots allow for flexible fixturing options, and glove ports equipped with additional safety features allow for additional processing options. These are just a few of the uniquely engineered features.

While the BASE is robust, care should be used during operation. When accessing the chamber, gently open and close the chamber access door. Be careful when extracting finished parts to limit the amount of detergent or media that is lost during the removal process. Ensure no heavy materials are stored above the BASE that may fall and damage it.
