The BASE is designed to be fully automatic and configured to remove powder from the following 3D print technologies: SLS, MJF, and smooth surfaces for SLA, CLIP, DLP, various metals, and others. The BASE is engineered to utilize an automated system that is configurable based on a specific operational need. To learn more, please refer to BASE Configuration Settings.
The front of the BASE has an access door which houses the part chamber. The part envelope is roughly 45.7cm x 45.7cm x 45.7cm (18” x 18” x 18”)” where the part is exposed to a combination of chemical detergent and suspended solids that are carefully selected to optimize a specific post-printing need. The chamber door is hinged and weighted to stay open when opened, yet caution should be used when reaching into the chamber.
Behind the right panel door is where the operator can access to the filtration system. For more information about cleaning and maintaining the filtration system for the BASE, please see the Maintenance Operations section of this User Manual.
