Hospitalization

In the case where a student has been admitted to a health care facility, the student must inform their RA or another member of Student Life.

Students who are hospitalized for behavioral health reasons must meet with the Dean of Students, or designee, to coordinate return to the campus community within one business day of their discharge. The student should submit documentation from the health care facility regarding the condition of the student and follow-up care recommendations to the Dean of Students. The Dean of Students and/or other University personnel will develop a success plan and next steps for the student.
