Whats New In Version 4.8.1

Hippotizer Version 4.8.1 adds new features and functionality to V4 and V4+ systems.

!Green Hippo recommends always backing up all programming before carrying out any software changes.

• Systems currently running 4.4.X, 4.5.X, 4.6.X, or 4.7.X should export all programming, carry out a clean install and then import data into 4.8.X.
• Systems currently running 4.3.3 or older software must clean install 4.8.1; all existing programming and settings will be lost.

Installation Notes:

• The recommended capture card driver version has been updated. If you have a capture card fitted, please select ‘Yes’ when asked during installation to update your drivers to the correct version.

Features added in 4.8.1

• Added Model to Output Space selector: Output from model can be changed between the Objects UV area, or utilizing the full 0-1 UV space.
• Compositions mappings in SHAPE can now be nudged in X and Y by using the arrow keys on the keyboard
• Fractional Pixel locations are now supported in the composition’s UI of SHAPE

Functionality Changes In 4.8.1

• 5353: New dedicated Sync Options button in Media Manager, it is no longer found under the settings button

• 5505: Fixed some issues related to MongoDB stopping the engine from starting
• 5539: Fixed an issue with the engine crashing while trying to encode non valid flexres files
• 5236: Fixed an issue with CITP crashes the engine when the same pin path is patched twice in DMX
• 5453: Improved REST API control of Int pins
• 4141: Videomapper tiles now rotate to negative values properly on the output
• 5481: Scaling rotated composition mappings in SHAPE now respects uniform scaling.
• 5523: Improved pinboard item placement when DPI scaling is not 100%
