Timecode

By default, the timecode setting in the top right-hand corner is set to “None”, in this mode your loaded file will play using an internal clock / timeline and will play looped continuously until you unload the file.

Sometimes it is necessary for a file to be synchronised with an external timecode from an audio source or other timecode generator. In this case you can select a timecode source from the dropdown list (You need to have Sync Manager running for anything to appear here).

If a timecode source is selected, you can set an offset time. This is the time at which your file will start playing and will be locked to the timecode.
