Severe Weather/Hazardous Conditions

NOTE: Information regarding severe weather will be provided by broadcast from NOAA via an All Hazards Alert Radio kept in the office area of each school campus.

Weather “WATCH”

Weather conditions are favorable for severe weather to develop during the next 12-36 hours. No severe weather currently exists within the county; therefore no action other than preparation is required at this time.

Weather “WARNING”

Weather conditions have produced severe weather within Wake County. Actions should be taken to protect lives and property.
