School Closings

In cases of extreme weather during the school day, remain indoors and shelter in place. Wait for the school administration to provide further direction. All students should be picked up by the designated time provided to parents via the Facts communication system. After Care and sporting events will be canceled as well.

Decisions for closing school because of inclement weather will be communicated to parents, teachers and staff through the school communication system by phone, email and text. GRACE will decide on closings in collaboration with the Wake County Public School System and local Independent Heads of School. When school closes, all programs including athletic events and After Care are closed.
