Discussion Topics

*Discussion topics. During the assembly, we will break into small groups. Each group will tackle only one of the three topics below. Attendees may choose which group/topic they would like to join. Small group time will be followed by plenary reporting and discussion.

1. Six-year rotation of Synod Assembly with years 1,2,4, and 5 being one-day assemblies and years 3 and 6 being multiple-day assemblies with year 6 being a bishop election.
2. On bishop election years, conducting first two ballots by mail, email, or other digital platforms before the assembly convenes.
3. Issue affecting two-day assemblies, including location, lodging, logistics, and cost.
