WHAT WE’RE ABOUT:
Proclaiming the unconditional love + transformational grace of God, revealed and accomplished in Jesus Christ, and understood through a Lutheran Christian lens.

WHO WE SERVE:
The students (undergraduate and graduate), faculty, staff, and wider WVU community; Christians of all kinds, people of other faiths, no faith, questioning faith. 2022-23 Graduates: Dakota Bennett, Laurel Muhly-Alexander, Jules van der Lans, Allen Potter

WHERE:
Based at our stand-alone chapel right along Downtown campus. We share God’s love with the students who are led to us and reach out to be present with those on campus who may never step through our doors.

WHEN:
Centered in worship, with a weekly Sunday evening Mass at 6pm, followed by a free fellowship dinner. We pray daily prayer offices throughout the week and open our doors for students to study and hang out.

HOW:
One full-time chaplain position (shared by Pastors Courtney & Ben Erzkus) that offers on-site leadership pastoral care, including spiritual guidance through worship and our new residential LutherHouse program!

Completely supported through the generosity of the WV-WMD Synod, congregations and individuals like you! Please consider joining our Recurring Giving Program to make a regular monthly/quarterly donation to help keep this ministry growing and open for the next generation of Lutheran Mountaineers!
