A widget below the signpost proposes, by default, the 4 nearest places from these categories: fuel stations (or charging stations), parking lots, and rest areas. You can add such a place as a waypoint in one tap. Tap the icon on the left to view more places, or collapse the widget by the Arrow on the right.
You can change which categories you would like to see in the widget. Go to Menu – Settings – Notifications – Places along route and use the toggle to enable or disable each category.
