Sygic GPS Navigation is an offline navigation, which means that you don’t need an internet connection while navigating, but you do need to download the desired maps first.
To manage your maps, please go to Main Menu →Offline Maps. Once there, you will see the following screen:
- The cogwheel button opens the Map options screen.
- The currently installed map version will be shown here.
- Your list of installed maps will be shown here.
- The “+” button is used to add more maps when you need them.
- This indicates how much free storage you have.
- By clicking this button, you will gain access to the map selection option, which is used to select maps for deletion to free storage space.

To download more maps, tap on the blue PLUS “+” button in the bottom right corner of the screen. Select the continent of your desired country and then choose the particular country by tapping on it. Some large countries’ maps are divided into multiple regions which will be displayed after you tap on that country. If you would not be sure which specific regions you’ll need for your travels, then you can still simply download all of its regions by selecting the first option at the top with the name and flag of the country. Percentages under the country/region name will indicate the download progress along with the circle animation on the right side next to the map.
To delete maps, tap and hold your finger on the maps you want to delete, or tap on the 3 dots button in the right upper corner. Options to “Select” and “Select all” will appear in the top right corner. Then just select map/maps you want to delete, and confirm by tapping on the trash bin icon in the top right corner.
