Strategy recommendations are set by PrimeSolve. The parent recommendations are strategic in nature and don’t involve any new product recommendations. Examples include:

  • Make additional contributions to superannuation;
  • Pay down non-deductible debt;
  • Take out additional life insurance.

For these recommendations to occur the advice firm must at least set some generic assumptions that relate to each strategy. For example, to make additional contributions to superannuation the algorithm must have a return assumption attached to superannuation even if we are not recommending a specific product.
