Sediment Pump Lubrication

Keeping the sediment pump tube lubricated will significantly increase its life. To lubricate the sediment pump tube, perform the following:

1. Unfasten the two clips on the sediment pump and open the hood.

2. Inspect the tube for cracking or wear. If worn, replace the tube.

3. Apply a bead of synthetic grease with PTFE to the lip of the hood.

4. Close the hood and refasten the two clips.

5. Check by running the sediment pump in Manual Mode and verifying that the sediment pump draws waste from the sediment tank.
