Adding Detergent to the DEMI 500 Series

	Wear safety glasses or goggles. Use eye protection equipment that has been tested and approved by recognized national standards (or equivalent).
	When working with or near detergents, use disposable Nitrile gloves of at least 5 mil (0.005”) thickness. Change gloves after each use.

!Do not heat or use detergent at a temperature greater than the flashpoint indicated on the detergent’s SDS. See Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for additional information on use.

The DEMI 500 Series utilizes premixed PostProcess detergent developed for a specific print technology or application. The DEMI 500 Series has a capacity of 91 liters (24 gallons). With the door open, detergent is poured into the processing tank. The system will come with a detergent pump to allow for easy filling and toping off to load and maintain the detergent level.

*Keep the machine filled when in operation. A low-level alarm will engage if the fluid level is too low to operate. Fill the system to approximately 76mm (3 inches) below the lip. See the photo below.

!Detergent loss will occur over time either from loss on parts or evaporation. A low-level alarm will stop the process immediately when the sensor is exposed. Fill the system when the sensor trips before attempting to restart the cycle.
