***This product is an aviation helmet. Do not use for any other purposes other than aviation flight.***

Although our helmet safety standards are more stringent than many other helmets, it may not provide sufficient protection if used in any other manner. The instructions in this manual are designed to assist the user with the selection of the correct helmet, proper use, proper care and information concerning when to refurbish or replace a helmet. Failure to read and follow these instructions may increase your risk of serious injury or death. Unfortunately, some accidents result in head injuries that cannot be prevented by ANY helmet.

Paraclete is at the forefront of technology in the aviation helmet industry. Even the most “comfortable and innovative” helmets cannot provide absolute safety. No helmet can guarantee to protect the wearer against all foreseeable events. The helmet is designed to reduce the chance or severity of injury in the event of an accident.

The visual depictions contained in the product literature may differ from the actual product. Without notice, Helmet Specification is subject to change.

In order to ensure the most reliable protection from the helmet, users should always do the following:

  • Wear the helmet when in or around the air frame.
  • Avoid accidental damage to the helmet by handling with care.
  • Follow all relevant safety procedures and mitigate risks.

Explanation of Safety Warning:

WARNING!

Warning: indicates a hazard with a moderate level of risk which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.

Failure of personnel to use correct helmet size may cause severe headaches and dizziness which may increase your risk of serious injury or death.
Wearing a helmet that is too large (to accommodate hair styling, i.e., ponytails or buns) may cause the helmet to rotate during normal use and depart the head during an accident sequence.

Prior to entering the helicopter or hazardous situation, the chin and nape straps should be properly secured.
Properly secured means difficulty placing two fingers side-by-side between the chinstrap and chin.
Failure of personnel to comply with this procedure may increase your risk of serious injury or death.

Headaches can occur if the cross straps are too tight. If they are too loose, hearing protection can be affected.
