Starting a single job with multiple setup

Often, one or more operators (machine setters) manage multiple machines simultaneously, leading to interrupted setup jobs due to issues with programs, tools, or other factors.

ShopFloor supports multiple setup cycles, allowing jobs to remain active while indicating they are in the setup phase with the status color “Orange.”

The machine setter can restart the job as a continued setup, repeating the process as needed. Once the setup is completed and reported as finished, the status indicator changes to “Light Green,” signaling that the job is now ready for actual production.

A job can be started indicating setup or multiple setup operations.

A the ShopFloor client this will be indicated with an orange colour that the job is under setup, and not ready for production yet.

When you end the setup, the job color will turn into light-green, and now you can either continue setup (status indicator returning to orange, or start the job for production (status indicator going to normal green.
