Templates – various item types

!It is very important that you familiarize yourself with the concept of using standard BC item creation templates before you begin using the system.

If you dont use advanced templates, it is recommended to set up simple templates, that is 1 template for each item type.
New items are created based on the standard BC item creation template function.
In CadConnect you can setup individual templates for the creation of end-items, fabricated items, purchased items and assembly items.
If you do not set up Templates, new items will be created only with the fields available in CadConnect. You must therefore afterwards manually supply necessary information – and setup-field to each item, eg. Posting groups etc.
