INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this handbook is to familiarize parents and guardians with the transportation procedures of the Morris Hills Regional District (MHRD). This guide aims to address common questions regarding student transportation and provide important information to ensure a safe, efficient, and smooth experience for all students.

MHRD provides transportation services for over 3,200 students, both in-district and out-of-district. All in-district transportation is handled by district-owned vehicles operated by MHRD-employed drivers. Some out-of-district transportation may be provided by contracted vendors.

The district operates on a tiered system:

• Tier 1: Morris Knolls High School

• Tier 2: Morris Hills High School
