Presets record the current state of the selected Layer, Mix or Viewport.
Recording a preset follows a simple 3-step process:
1. Press Record
- Single clicking the record button will highlight it with green indicating the window is primed for saving a single preset. After a preset is saved the record function will disable.
- Double clicking the record button will highlight it with orange indicating the windoes is primed for saving multiple presets. This will remain active until you click the button again to deactivate.
2. Select the desired record filters
- On Layer, filters allow for only certain attributes such as level, geometry or effects to be saved.
- On Mix filters allow for certain layers or the mix controls to be saved.
- There are no filters for Viewports.
3. Choose the bank and slot to save the preset in.
4. If saving into an occupied preset slot you are giving a choice of 3 actions.
Updatevalues
Only changes the pin values already included in the preset with the current values.
Merge
Change any values that are saved in the preset with the current values, as well as, add any additional values that were not included in the preset.
Replace
Completely overwrite a preset with the current values.
