Host Info And Components

Host Info and Components contains basic Zookeeper settings

Host Name

The name of a system as it appears in HippoNet. By default, the Host Name is the computer’s name. For a change to be displayed the engine must be restarted.

High Performance Mode

High performance mode disables previews and the visualiser to save resources. Using High Performance Mode is especially effective on systems with multiple mixes and/or 4K and above resolutions.

• Enable Previews and the visualiser are shut down.

• Disable The default. Previews and visualiser are enabled.

For situations with higher workloads and larger texture sizes (4K and above) it will also improve playback to enable High Performance Mode. This disables previews and also shuts down a texture sharing sub-system. When high performance mode is enabled, the Visualizer will not work.
