- The Child Safe Activity Planning Guide – assists the planning of activities that involve children and young people under the age of 18yrs. It includes potential child safe risk areas, strategies to manage the risks and a template activity information letter to assist communications with participants, parents/guardians.
- The Bathroom and Change Room signage templates are available for clubs to download and edit to assist them to inform members about the child safety in and around bathrooms, toilets and change rooms. Please contact memberservices@surflifesaving.com.au if you would like assistance adapting these to your club needs.
Club Child Safe Commitment Statement – Encourage your club executive to review and sign the Club Child Safe Commitment Statement (page 13 of the Child Safe Guideline) each year. Displaying this clearly at your club and/or on your club website reinforces the clubs commitment to child safe practices and may help deter potential offenders who read your club website when deciding whether to join a club.
