To schedule and receive a report automatically, through an e-mail, follow these steps:

1. Generate a report.

2. Click the Scheduled report button.

3. Fill in the following fields:

Field Description
Name The name of the report. The name will help the recipient to know about the type of report. Mandatory field.
Format The format in which you want to send the report. You can send the report in the following formats:
  • CSV: Comma separated values.
  • PDF: A PDF file.
  • XLS: An Excel sheet for versions of Excel 97 to Excel 2003.
  • XLSX: An Excel sheet for the versions of Excel later than 2003.
Frequency How often you want to send the report.
  • Daily: Sends the report daily.
  • Weekly: Sends the report weekly. You need to specify the day of the week on which you want to send the report.
  • Monthly: Sends the report monthly. You need to specify the date of the month on which you want to send the report.
E-mail recipients The email addresses of the people to whom you want to send the report.
Language The language of the e-mail containing the report.
Disabled The option to indicate whether the report has been disabled for scheduling.

4. Click the Save button and your scheduled report will now appear in the list of scheduled reports.
