Powering Up the VORSA 500

The POWER button for the VORSA 500 is located below the controller touchscreen (refer to image below). To power up (or down) the VORSA 500, press the POWER button. If the POWER button is illuminated, the VORSA 500 is on.

Also beneath the controller touchscreen is the ALARM RESET and EMERGENCY STOP buttons (called out below).

!If the VORSA 500 appears to be malfunctioning in any way, immediately push the EMERGENCY STOP button and refer to the Troubleshooting section. If the issue is not able to be resolved, contact PostProcess Support at support@PostPrcess.com.

Powering Down the VORSA 500

It is extremely important to power down the machine for safety when performing certain operations to the machine.

1. Power off the controller touchscreen.

• Click the gear icon on the right side of the controller touchscreen
• Click the power button in the lower right corner of the screen
• Select ‘Shutdown’
• Wait for the controller touchscreen to go black

2. After the controller touchscreen turned off, press the POWER button on the front of the machine.

3. Turn the MASTER DISCONNECT SWITCH to the off position.
