Users can now enable digital signatures for specific events in a process. These signatures can be accessed in PDF format.
*An event refers to a type of action that occurs during the execution of a process. It is represented by the transition arrow (
) between tasks. A digital signature can only be applied to a human event type.
*To enable digital signatures for an event, users will need to both select the above checkbox and assign a template to the appropriate form behavior. For more information on how to enable digital signatures in the Designer, click here.
Once the event has been triggered in the web application, a pop-up window will appear informing users that they need to authenticate their signature with a code.
Users will receive this code via email.
Users can then access their signature by viewing a PDF template of the form.
*Multi-signature is supported on PDF files.
