Fixes

Address Management

• Added a constraint to prevent the deletion of addresses associated with live records.

Case Builder

• Corrected an issue that prevented newly entered municipalities from displaying on the Criminal Complaint.
• The Add/Edit Crime Narrative window in the Criminal Complaint was modified to resolve a text overlap issue.
• Resolved an issue with the approving officer showing as the reported officer in Case Builder’s tree view.

Search Warrant

• Modified the search warrant to display the county associated with the municipality selected in the case.

Global IBRS

• The property role of “Evidence” was modified to no longer submit as a type of “1 – None” in the monthly submission file.

South Carolina IBRS

• Segments in the monthly submission containing exceptional clearances, recovered property, and arrest dates greater than the date of the monthly submission file are no longer submitted in that month. These segments will be submitted in the month the action occurred.
• The checkbox for weapon action type on the SCIBRS offense tab is now enabled immediately after entering an applicable weapon.
• A validation check was added to ensure “Method of Entry” on the SCIBRS offense tab is entered when required for the offense.
• Fixed an issue that prevented the creation of time window submission records.
• Corrected an issue where “TCA” and “Drug Type” fields were submitted to the state for inapplicable offenses.
• The second location type on the SCIBRS offense tab was modified to be active for all offenses.
• A validation check was added to ensure that the second location type on the SCIBRS offense tab is entered when the first location type is either “Parking Lot/Parking Garage” or “ATM machine (Stand alone, not located inside a bank or other business)”.
• A validation check was added to ensure that weapon types entered for 13B offenses are one of the following:
  • Personal Weapons (i.e., hands, feet, teeth, etc.)
  • Other (any weapon or force, including deadly diseases, not fitting the above specifically coded weapons/force)
  • Unknown
  • None
• The “Criminal Activity Type” field on the SCIBRS Offender tab has been disabled for 35B offenses.
• Corrected an issue causing arrest code duplication.
• Improved the handling of the “Arrest Transaction Number” in the SCIBRS monthly submission file.
• Resolved an issue causing the “Weapon Type” drop-down box to gray out if the user exited and reentered the SCIBRS data entry form.

Wisconsin IBRS

• Corrected an issue that was causing the creation of duplicate arrest segments in the monthly WIIBRS submission file.
• Improved the handling of the “Incident Date” in the WIIBRS monthly submission file.
• Added the state specific code of 11E.
• Added the state specific weapon type of “BB/Pellet Gun”.
• Added functionality to detect and report the number of local motor vehicles stolen as well as vehicles stolen and recovered elsewhere.
• Corrected an issue preventing the ability to choose LEOKA data on the WIIBRS Victim tab.

Virginia IBRS

• Added a validation check to detect a missing ethnicity for arrestee(s).
