Individual guests can be profiled by VIP category: the basic table shown here summarises the list of the existing typologies in the system.
Information about the VIP level associated with each Guest can be viewed on the reporting system used by departments to examine both arriving and in-house guests, and appears among the available criteria that are useful for extrapolating targeted samples of profiles to which can be addressed marketing and loyalty-building services.

The function enables to modify the VIP code of the active guest profiles (not deleted logically) according to the number of stays registered for the guests, as in the following example:
- In the section on the left, after having launched the programme, the system presents an overview of the current situation of guest profiles, organising them by VIP category and quantifying them.
- The check box exclude allows to exclude from the change operation the profiles that already have a specific VIP code associated.
- In the section on the right, some criteria must be set:
- In the Stays column, indicate the minimum number of stays relating to the VIP category selected;
- In the Years column, indicate the criterion “latest years” under which stays must be included.
- Then, click “Simulation” to view how many guests correspond in the “Simulation” column to the selected criteria, and in the ‘‘To do’‘ column how many of these actually do not possess at the moment the VIP code suggested for the stay parameters indicated in the line.
In the example shown,
- Guests who at present do not need any VIP classification () are those who did only 1 stay in the last 4 years:
- Then, at the moment, in the archive there are 128537 profiles that actually did only one stay in the last four years, and 14129 records of these must be modified according to rules here provided.
- guests who at present have to change their code into ABIT code are those who stayed at least 40 times in the last year:
There is only one profile that satisfies this parameter, and it actually does not possess the ABIT code.
- guests who at present have to change their code into NEW code are those who stayed twice in the last two years:
There exist 5342 profiles possessing such prerequisites, and 5051 at present do not possess the VIP code suggested by the user.
- guests with VIP and VIP 1 codes and CARD are not modified.
The “Run” button enables to modify the field on the profiles extrapolated.
