Battery Power

  1. The Shore Power breaker on the AC Distribution Panel should be in the OFF position.
  2. The Inverter breaker on the AC Distribution Panel should be in the ON position.
  3. The Inverter Remote Switch should be in the ON position
  4. The ELCI Breaker is not active while on battery power but can safely remain in the ON position at all times.

Shore Power

  1. The Shore Power breaker on the AC Distribution Panel should be in the ON position.
  2. The ELCI Breaker should be in the ON position.
  3. The Inverter Remote Switch should be in the OFF position.
  4. Connect to the shore power source.
  5. Verify that the “rev polarity” light on the AC Distribution panel is not RED indicating reverse polarity.
  6. Shore power and battery charger breakers must be on in order for the batteries to charge while on shore power.

The ELCI Breaker REMOTE SWITCH is located in the mid-berth near the A/C distribution panel. The ELCI breaker is utilized while on shore power. After connecting to shore power, turn on the ELCI breaker REMOTE SWITCH and verify that the “rev polarity” light is not RED indicating reverse polarity.
